Hair Removal

is able to remove those unwanted hairs. This will ensure that you
will never need to shave, or use other depilatory devices, again.
Until now, the only options for removing unwanted hair were shaving,
waxing, hair-removal creams, tweezing or electrolysis, and these are all
temporary and/or painful. In the 1980's a Russian physicist, while
developing the Ruby laser for defense purposes, accidentally lasered
himself on the arm. He noticed that the hairs in the lasered area were
vaporized, and new hair growth occurred only after a number of months.
As a result of this accident, laser hair removal was born.
Laser
and Intense Pulsed Light
hair removal is a non-invasive method that does not require needles or
electrical current.
Thousands of hairs can be zapped in a single
session.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
technology, is also used in other skin-care
procedures, known as photo-facial rejuvenation.

numbing cream. The laser used in our office is
ND-Yag 1064, and can be used on all types and color of skin.
IPL hair removal is better suited for fine, lighter hair. White
hair does not respond to any laser or IPL.
This technique is good for
underarms, face, legs, back and most other skin surfaces. |
